Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a fitness / recreation center; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Requests for interpretation will be accepted up to ten (10) calendar days prior to date set for opening of bids. Any questions concerning the plans or specifications shall be directed to Mike Flowers at mike.flowers@memphistn.gov. Questions about the plans or specifications shall be sent to me in writing. The cut-off for questions will be by the COB on Friday April 17th. This scope of work includes the installation of three concrete pods with rubber surfacing and Kompan outdoor fitness equipment (provided by Memphis Parks) at Sea Isle Park on Estate Drive near the McWhirter Senior Center. A new water fountain and water meter will also need to be set and there will be some additional concrete paving replacing some sections of the asphalt walking trail. During the demolition, one piece of existing equipment is to be salvaged and repurposed (Achilles Stretch). This piece is to be sandblasted, primed and repainted to match the colors of the purchased equipment. Sealed bids will be received for furnishing the City of Memphis with the construction of Sea Isle Park Fitness Area Upgrades. All bidders, if required, must be licensed contractors as set forth by Title 62, Chapter 6, of the Tennessee Code Annotated. The bidder's license number, expiration date, and applicable classification must appear on the envelope containing the bid unless the bid amount is under $25,000.00.
