Airfield Drainage Improvements Major items of work include the airfield drainage improvements at the Foley Municipal Airport. Approximate quantities include: 1. Slope Paving (with 6" X 6" WWF) 70 CY 2. Removing RipRap 500 SY 3. Unclassified Excavation 3000 CY The project shall be completed within 60 Calendar Days of the Issuance of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages for this project shall be $500 per Calendar Day. The Contractor must purchase and obtain the plans and specifications from the website listed above or obtain them from Volkert in order to submit a bid. Bids must be submitted upon the forms included within the contract documents and specifications. Bids shall include all pages included in Division I - Bid Documents. Submission of the entire contract book is not required. Guarantee will be required with each bid as follows: At least 5% of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000), shall be filed in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Foley. Contract bond will be required as follows: 100% of the contract price. Labor and Materials Bond will be required as follows: 100% of the contract price. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and waive informalities in the bidding.
