The project is for professional architectural and engineering services for renovations and alterations to the East Wing and the exterior sallyport at the Monmouth County Courthouse in Freehold. The scope includes providing comprehensive professional services to prepare schematic drawings through final construction documents for building renovations and alterations to approximately 236,300 square feet of the courthouse, specifically the East Wing. The building consists of a Lower Level, First Floor, Second Floor, and Third Floor. The goals are: 1. To create a new, securely fenced sallyport on the north side of the East Wing and reprogram the path for the secure vehicular transport of individuals in custody, ensuring a higher degree of separation between employee parking and the sallyport, and offering judges protection from the view of prisoners. 2. To add additional courtrooms to the Lower Level and First Floor of the East Wing. Instructions to bidders include: - Submit professional qualifications in a statement no longer than four single-sided 8½” x 11” sheets. Excess pages will not be considered. - Attach resumes of proposed key personnel, each no more than two single-sided sheets, highlighting experience on similar projects. - Include a listing of work areas to be subcontracted, names of subconsultants summarized on one page, and resumes of the subconsultants’ project managers. - Submit one original, unbound, and one bound copy of the qualifications package in a sealed envelope labeled with the project name, number, and Consultant’s contact information.
