The City of Seattle seeks multiple vendors to provide routine recycling and compostables collection services for City-owned facilities across the Seattle region. These services will include the removal, collection, and recycling of materials such as paper, cardboard, glass, metals, plastics, compostables, and other recyclable streams generated by City operations. Vendors are responsible for ensuring collected materials are recycled or otherwise diverted from landfill disposal. Services also include providing and maintaining collection containers, adjusting collection schedules as needed, and supporting the City’s goals for environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and community benefit. Vendors must demonstrate the ability to service multiple locations, respond to on-call requests, and provide reliable reporting on materials collected and processed. This solicitation is limited to recycling and compost collection services for City-owned facilities. The City anticipates awarding multiple contracts to ensure reliable service coverage, support for diverse recycling streams, and alignment with the City’s environmental sustainability goals.
