The work includes installation of a duplex effluent lift station with wet well, valve vault structures, access hatches, process piping and valves, electrical service, pumps and controls, and relocation of an existing antenna tower with new concrete base. Site improvements include approximately 80 cubic yards of imported fill, grading, a new gravel driveway, steel pipe bollards, a 4-inch gate valve, and connection to an existing 4-inch effluent gravity main. Approximately 7,139 feet of 3-inch HDPE forcemain is to be installed by directional drilling, with connection to an existing manhole and pavement restoration. Nineteen service stub outs are to be installed along the forcemain route, including 3x3x2-inch HDPE tee fittings and 2-inch curb stops, approximately 445 feet of 2-inch HDPE sewer force service line by open cut, and approximately 380 feet by directional drilling. The existing recirculating sand filter wastewater treatment system and existing mound disposal system are to be abandoned. Effluent filters are to be installed in 9 existing septic tanks, including pumping and disposing of septage. Alternate work includes service connections for homes along the forcemain route, installation of 16 new 1,600 gallon combination septic pump tanks with pumps and controls, installation of 4-inch PVC sewer pipe and 2-way cleanouts between the house and the combo tank, installation of 2-inch HDPE effluent forcemain and appurtenances from the outlet of the combo tank to the curb stop at the right-of-way line, abandonment and demolition of 16 existing POWTS and mound systems, and additional electrical work as needed to provide power to effluent pumps and alarm circuits, including work at specified addresses and any other unforeseen electrical requirements.
