Renovation of a detention facility in Safford, Arizona. Working plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The work involves providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and warranties necessary to design, supply, install, integrate, test, and commission a carbon monoxide (CO) detection system that will be fully interfaced with the existing fire detection and alarm system (FDAS). The system must be compatible with the Edwards EST3 system installed in 2022 and comply with the latest National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, as well as applicable local, state, and federal codes including the International Building Code, Life Safety Code, OSHA, and American Correctional Association standards. The contractor must ensure all personnel and subcontractors are properly licensed, qualified, and able to provide certifications or proof of experience upon request. All materials and installation must meet or exceed specifications to be provided in the forthcoming Request for Quotations. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
