The Project includes park lighting improvements at Citizens Park and VFW Memorial Park by removing and replacing the light pole fixtures. The existing light pole bases and wiring are anticipated to remain and shall be connected onto with the new fixtures. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder’s maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, or an electronic Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. If after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Town of Freedom will receive and accept bids ONLY through QuestCDN.com via the online electronic bid service (Quest vBid) for the construction of Freedom Park Lighting Upgrades. Bidding Documents are available for download from Quest CDN at www.Questcdn.com. You may download the digital plan documents for $45 by inputting Quest eBidDoc #10139427 on the website’s Project Search page. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with Quest CDN as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. Quest CDN requires the bidding documents to be downloaded from the site in order to submit a bid in the Vbid system. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through Quest CDN. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than Quest CDN.
