Sealed bids are requested for Water System Improvements for the Town of Jones City, Oklahoma, specifically for a Water Storage Tank at the intersection of Sullivan St and 5th St. There are two alternate bid options: Alternate Bid 1 includes a 40'-0" ID x 120' Standpipe, SCADA and controls integration, painting/coating system, disinfection, hydrostatic pressure testing and disinfection, various sizes of gate valves and boxes, reducers, installation of PVC water main (6" and 12"), bends, interconnections, tees, tapping sleeve and valve, cut and plug, erosion control, and traffic control. Alternate Bid 2 includes a 0.5 MG Composite Tower, SCADA and controls integration, painting/coating system, disinfection, valve vault, hydrostatic pressure testing and disinfection, various sizes of gate valves and boxes, reducers, installation of PVC water main (6" and 12"), gravel drive, bends, interconnections, tees, tapping sleeve and valve, cut and plug, erosion control, and traffic control. Compliance with Labor Standards Contract Provisions is mandatory. A bid bond of 5% of the total bid amount must be attached, serving as a guarantee that the successful bidder will, within ten days of notice of award, enter into contract and file the required bonds. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days following the actual date of bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or technicalities, and make awards in the Owner's best interest. Contractors must obtain plans and specifications from the Engineer and be registered on the Engineer's bid list to be recognized as eligible bidders.
