These services primarily include, but are not limited to, the following activities: . Updating and adhering to the cooling tower maintenance program; . Opening and closing of the cooling towers; . Water sampling and analysis; . Shutdowns and restarts during the service period; . Chemical treatment of the cooling towers; . Visual, mechanical, and acoustic inspection; . Identification of issues regarding thresholds; . Mechanical cleaning of the towers (reduction of corrosion and scaling, etc.); . Issuance of various reports. All work must be performed in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations and the strictest standards, unless otherwise specified in this request for proposals or by the CSSMB representative. Type of Contract This is a service contract comprising a fixed-price component and an on-demand component. 1. Fixed-price component: Inspections, sampling, chemical treatment, and mechanical cleaning of cooling towers; 2. On-demand component: Service calls outside of periodic inspections and maintenance. Contract Duration This contract will have an initial term of approximately one year, from the date of award through April 30, 2027 The TENDERER must submit a request for equivalence to the PUBLIC BODY in accordance with clause 1.03 of the Regulations. This request must be sent to the PUBLIC BODY at least TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY (240) hours before the deadline for the receipt of Tenders.
