The project consists of asphalt paving services for a parking lot at 331 Thomaston Street, Zebulon, Georgia. The scope of work includes preparing and paving two distinct surface areas: 1. Gravel Surface Area (approximately 751 square yards): Prepare the gravel surface as needed for proper compaction and uniformity, then install 2 inches of 9.5 mm Type 2 hot mix asphalt. 2. Existing Paved Surface Area (approximately 819 square yards): Install 3/4 inch of Open Graded Interlayer (OGI), then install 1.25 inches of 9.5 mm Type 2 hot mix asphalt. Bidders shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project according to the specifications. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked for the 2026 Pike County paving project, and delivered to the Pike County Board of Commissioners. Cost proposals should be in a separate sealed envelope. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, and the awarded contractor must provide a notarized Contractor Affidavit confirming compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program (E-Verify) and Verification of Lawful Presence in the United States. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities, and select the proposal deemed in Pike County's best interest. Bidders must affirm their bids are genuine, non-collusive, and that no Board employee has any direct or indirect interest in the bid or contract.
