Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is informing contractors and consultants of upcoming regional contract opportunities in Quebec for the Real Property Operations Group (RP OPS). The Quebec region is divided into four main sites: Bagotville, Montréal, St-Jean, and Valcartier, as well as several satellite sites. Projects announced will include, at a minimum, two of these locations. Future contracts will be subject to separate tendering or request for proposal processes and may be awarded through various procurement mechanisms including open competitive tenders, source lists, and standing offer agreements, which can be local, regional, or national. Some projects may be reserved for Indigenous businesses under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB). Contractors and consultants intending to participate should assess their capacity and begin any necessary steps, including obtaining required security clearances, if applicable. Specific requirements for security clearances and contract mechanisms will be detailed in the future solicitation documents. Contractors and consultants are advised to begin the sponsorship process for security clearance through DCC’s Industrial Security Program if they do not already hold the required clearance. DCC may provide assistance during the sponsorship process at its discretion, but does not guarantee the granting of security clearance or contract award. Applications for sponsorship should include relevant project and contract numbers and the level of clearance requested.
