Question Deadline 04/30/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: Email all questions to the following: Dan Lightbody, Olsson, dlightbody@olsson.com and Neng Huynh, Olsson, nhuynh@olsson.com. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Bid Section A: Keith - Lincoln involves replacement of existing electric gate actuators with new electric gate actuators for the existing 6 river gates, installation of a new gate control system, electrical work, replacement of the 6 river gate imbed seal plates and gate seals (sides and bottom), and ancillary items covered in the plans and specifications. Bid Section B: Platte Valley - North Platte includes modification of existing gate operators and addition of new electric gate actuators for the 4 northern gates and two southern gates, new lighting and electrical work, addition of railing to the northern walkway, removal and replacement of southern river walkway, and ancillary items covered in the plans and specifications. Bid Section C: Paxton-Hershey requires modification of existing gate operators and addition of new electric gate actuators for the 2 river gates, new lighting and electrical work, new gate control system, and ancillary items covered in the plans and specifications. Bid Section D: Suburban includes modification of existing gate operators and addition of new electric gate actuators for the 4 river gates, grading and riprap placement on the north river bank, installation of a handrail to the river walkway, new lighting and electrical work, seeding and erosion control, installation of an access ladder to the river structure and canal structure, and ancillary items covered in the plans and specifications. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the Owner, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of sixty days after the bids are open. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
