Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Boulder, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Reference Number 0000419819 The project is two separate projects on Pleasant Street that will be bid and awarded together. The projects will be installing approximately 145 linear feet of 10-inch diameter PVC storm line in Pleasant Street, North of the Hale Science Building, between Macky Drive and Broadway with associated concrete and asphalt replacement including a mill and overlay of Pleasant Street. Pleasant Street will be closed to traffic between the last week in June and 1st week of August and the work must be completed during this closure. This work will include open cut trenching, pipe installation with inlets, concrete work including an ADA crosswalk, Cub and gutter, restoration of sidewalk and roadway, asphalt mill and overlay, and pavement markings. Coordination with the University for roadway access will be a consideration as well, along with limited traffic control. If the construction value is $50,000 or greater a Bid Bond and Power of Attorney or Proposal Guaranty is required in an amount not less than 5% of the total Bid. if a contract amounts to $150,000 or more, the awarded contractor shall provide payment and performance bonds not less than 50% of the value of the contract.
