Renovation of a water / sewer project in Prescott, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Project will remove two aging lift stations (constructed in 1972) from wastewater collection system by extending approx 1,500 LF of new 8-inch gravity sewer main to serve the City parcels located in the Loma Cantante and Country Park Unit 4 Subdivisions. Existing force mains will be abandoned and the existing wet wells, pumps, and electrical equipment will be removed as part of the project. Project was identified in the Wastewater Model to increase operational efficiency of the wastewater collection system. At the completion of this project, the Wastewater Operations Division will have two less lift stations to operate and maintain. Project will replace approx. 560 LF of 12 PVC water main from Skyline Dr. to Golf Club Lane. The project is included in the City's 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 10,2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
