The City of Culver City is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to furnish a repair solution for approximately 360 linear feet of failing Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) storm drain pipeline, with an additional option for 435 linear feet of RCP joint repair. The storm drain pipeline, built over different periods, varies in diameter from 78 inches to 48 inches. Proposals must include recommendations for repair, scope and cost for all labor, services, materials, and equipment necessary to fully complete the project. The work includes installing a full Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) lining or slip lining for the first 110 feet (Section 1) using proven trenchless methods or materials, and presenting a method to rehabilitate the joints for approximately 250 feet (Section 2). There is also an add alternate for joint rehabilitation of an additional 435 feet (Section 3) north to Lenawee Avenue and Marcia Court. Proposals must address installation methods, field investigation, detailed measurement, preparation of supporting calculations, and the installation of the trenchless liner. Bidders must meet or exceed all stated requirements. The needs of the City of Culver City will govern in the event of a dispute over installation or performance. The entire system drains north, from a headwall located in the Oil Fields at the south end of Lenawee Avenue, to the Culver City limits near Lenawee Avenue and Marcia Court.
