Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Dallas, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 276-unit multi-residential development; for the construction of a clubhouse / community center; fitness / recreation center; and library.
Dallas City Council has approved a major renovation of the Roseland Townhomes and Roseland Estates public housing complexes, which will be consolidated and rebranded as Roseland Homes. The Dallas Housing Authority plans an approximately $82 million rehabilitation that includes interior unit renovations, new roofs, HVAC, doors, windows, appliances, security lighting, and site improvements. The project also includes demolition of three residential buildings and construction of a new community facility with resident amenities. Financing will utilize federal tax credits and DHA-issued bonds, with construction anticipated to conclude approximately two years after financial close.
