SERIAL NUMBER: 22-143-A BID NO. 25-26-001 Don Julian Elementary DSA Application Number: 03-125038 Edgewood Academy DSA Application Number: 03-125037 Question Deadline 05/13/2026 at 4:00 PM PT Questions submitted to only one contact, or submitted by any method other than email, may not receive a response CONTACT 1 Brianda Ramirez Procurement, Bassett Unified School District brianda.ramirez@bassettusd.org and CONTACT 2 Robert Segarra Senior Director of Project Management, Cumming Group Robert.Segarra@cumming-group.com The project consists of the construction of new state-of-the-art artificial turf fields for football and soccer, new rubber surface running tracks, associated bleachers, concession stands with restrooms (men's, women's, and gender-neutral), six new stadium lights per site with associated sound and communications systems, audio/PA system, security cameras, wireless access points, and all associated site work, utilities, drainage, grading, and environmental remediation of the soils at both Don Julian Elementary School and Edgewood Academy. All work at both school sites must be performed concurrently under a single contract. The contractor is responsible for reviewing and complying with each site's specific contract documents, including drawings, specifications, geotechnical and environmental reports, and all site-specific requirements. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, coordination, temporary work, access, phasing, layout, utility rough-ins, supports, foundations, receiving, unloading, storage, protection, and incidental work necessary for a complete and fully operational project. The scope specifically includes coordination with owner-contracted vendors for the Musco TLC LED Sports Lighting System, synthetic turf and track surfacing, bleachers/grandstand system, and modular concession/restroom building, with the contractor responsible for all preparatory, foundation, and integration work not covered by these vendors. The bid must include all work not included within each vendor's scope, and no additional compensation will be allowed for gaps that could have been identified prior to bid submission. Bids must be submitted on district-provided forms and must conform to all pertinent contract documents, including instructions to bidders. Each bidder must possess a valid and active California Contractor License (A or B). Bid security of ten percent is required. Performance and payment bonds of 100% are required. Prevailing wage rates must be paid. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required. The district reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive irregularities. The contract, if awarded, will go to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the combined total base bid for both sites. Bids from non-prequalified general contractors will be deemed non-responsive and rejected. Subcontractors are not required to be prequalified for this project. Pre-qualification requirements: Only prequalified general contractors are eligible to submit bids. The prequalification period has closed. The following general contractors have been prequalified and are eligible to submit bids: Paul C. Miller Construction Co., Inc.; The Nazerian Group; Byrom-Davey, Inc. Bids from non-prequalified contractors will be rejected. Subcontractors are not required to be prequalified.
