The City of Springfield is seeking a qualified contractor(s) for a time and materials contract for on-call, on-site electrical services city-wide, as well as new replacement equipment. The contract shall include all labor, equipment, licensing, materials, tools, travel, and all other items necessary to complete work on an “as required if required basis.” The minimum requirements include, but are not limited to, installing, repairing, servicing, maintaining, and adjusting electrical systems and equipment owned and/or operated by the City of Springfield. Examples of work include troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems; installation of circuits, panels, conduit, or lighting; emergency response for outages; generator hookup and maintenance; SCADA/low-voltage or IT-related electrical issues. The contract will establish hourly rates and percentage mark-ups which will remain fixed for the term of the contract. The contract will be issued in the form of a one-year contract with four one-year renewals.
