Fairview Fence and Gravel 2204 Commerce St. Fairview, OK 73737 Bids are requested for the Fairview Fence and Gravel project. Each bid must be delivered or emailed to the Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority offices in Edmond, Oklahoma, and must be submitted in an email or sealed envelope marked: "Sealed Bid - Contract: Fairview Fence and Gravel." Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours before or after the specified bid opening time will not be considered. Bids must comply with the "Requirements for Bidding and Instructions to Bidders" and must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, a completed Non-Collusion Affidavit, and other required documents. If awarded, the prevailing bidder will be required to provide bonds or other acceptable security to secure performance, payment, and warranty in an amount equal to their bid. Approximately 1565' of new 6' chain link fence (bidder to verify on-site) -All fence posts shall be schedule 40 industrial-grade, hot-dip galvanized inside and out and meet ASTM F1083. -Corner posts shall be at least 2 7/8" diameter. -In-line posts shall be at least 2 3/8" diameter. -For corner and gate posts, holes shall be at least 12" in diameter and filled with concrete having a strength of at least 3000 psi at 28 days. -For in-line posts, holes shall be at least 8" in diameter and filled with concrete having a strength of at least 3000 psi at 28 days. -Corner posts shall be embedded at least 3' and reinforced as needed with horizontal and angled support pieces. -Line posts shall not be spaced more than 10'. -Top rail required. -Bottom tension wire or rail is required. -In-line posts shall be embedded at least 2'. -Fabric shall be 6' 9-gauge hot dip galvanized. -Fence and gates shall be topped with 4 barbed wires. -Openers shall be Liftmaster chain-operated with remotes for operation. Bidder shall install schedule 40 PVC conduit and wiring to power the gate. Conduit shall be buried to a depth of at least 24". -Gates shall be at least 6' tall to match the fence. -2 new 30' power cantilever gates with electric openers with heavy-duty rollers, hardware and posts to operate in 55 mph wind conditions. -2 new manual swing gates. -Remove 240' of existing chain link fence. -Scrape grass/vegetation from 140,000 sq/ft area within new fenced area. Place 4" of road base, sterilize for weed control, top with 2" of crushed limestone. -All work shall be warranted against defects in material and workmanship for one year from completion of the project. -Bidder is responsible for all utility locates.
