Description

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in 100 Mile House, British Columbia. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The objective of the services is to provide support for the engineering program in the upcoming fiscal year on an “as and when needed” basis. The successful proponent will be expected to provide services to support the engineering program in the district, working closely with forestry professionals and professional engineers within the Ministry of Forests, and possibly with staff from other ministries or agencies. The work includes conducting forest road inspections, prescriptions, and oversight of forest road maintenance or deactivation projects, reporting results to the ministry representative, and providing professional certification of final works. Forest road maintenance or deactivation projects will be assigned on an “as and when required” basis, subject to available funding and workload priorities. There are no guarantees regarding the amount of work that will be assigned to the successful bidder.
