Site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Kenova, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; and educational facility.
The work includes the construction of an addition to an elementary school, incorporating classrooms, offices, a gymnasium, kitchen, dining, and associated spaces; renovations to the existing middle school; and site improvements related to the project, including but not limited to excavation and earthmoving, utility, road and walkway paving, steel and masonry building systems, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, mechanical systems, other general construction, and other work indicated in the bidding documents. All bids must include a bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount, executed by the bidder and issued by an approved surety company. Only full sets of bidding documents will be issued for a non-refundable document access fee. All requests for information, substitution requests, and correspondence must be submitted in writing to the architect's provided email address. Addenda will only be issued to registered bidding document holders. All potential bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting; sub-bidders and material suppliers are encouraged to attend. Bidders may review the bidding documents at specified plan rooms or at the offices of the owner and architect.
