Site work and paving for a road / highway in Los Banos, California. Completed plans call for site work for a 97,650-square-foot road / highway; 217,887-square-foot road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work consists of pavement rehabilitation of several streets in the City of Los Banos, including asphalt concrete overlays on approximately 97,750 square feet of pavement and reconstruction by pulverization and repaving of approximately 217,887 square feet of pavement. It also includes pavement digouts of failed pavement areas, construction of approximately 19 curb cut ramps, application of pavement striping and markings, and other miscellaneous appurtenant work. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or bidder's bond for at least ten percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must have a current and active California State Contractor's License: Class A or C-12, at the time of submission and throughout the contract. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage requirements and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required. Bids from those not in attendance will not be considered.
