Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Hudson, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility.
Invites bids for general construction, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work for the Town Court Facility located at 83 Main Street, Hudson, New York, 12534. Separate sealed bids must be received at the designated location prior to the time of bid opening. Complete drawings, specifications, and bid forms are available for public viewing and download. Bidders are required to promptly notify the architect in writing about any errors, omissions, conflicts, or ambiguities within the contract documents. Interpretations or clarifications will be issued via formal written Addenda. Only formal Addenda are binding. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bid is required with the proposal. Performance Bond and Labor Material Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of Contract Sum must be delivered at the time the Contract is signed. Bidders' attention is specifically called to the owner's sales tax exemption, minimum wage rates, and non-collusion certification requirements. Qualification requirements for bidders include: rigid bonding and insurance requirements, financial statements and bank references, lists of lawsuits or proceedings involving the bidder, a statement of Surety's intent to issue required bonds, and descriptions of similar projects completed. Compliance with New York State prevailing wage and supplement requirements is mandatory.
