Site work for a water / sewer project in Pattison, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Major items of work include earthwork, ditch grading, cleaning, installation of 12", 15", 18" and 24" storm sewer pipe, application of 1-1/2" and 2" thick hot mix hot laid asphalt, gravel driveway replacement, and concrete and asphalt repairs. Sealed bids in duplicate are required for furnishing all plant, labor, material, and equipment, and for performing all work required for construction of this project. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety, or a certified check or bank draft payable to City of Pattison, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds may be submitted in lieu of the bid bond. Not less than the federally determined prevailing wage rate must be paid on this project. The successful bidder must ensure nondiscrimination in employment practices and all contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) before award of contract. The project is subject to Build America, Buy America Act requirements. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. The award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid. Bids may be held for up to sixty days for review and qualification checks before contract award. Contractors or subcontractors debarred, suspended, or ineligible for federal assistance may not participate in the project.
