Renovation of a communication facility in Morro Bay, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a communication facility.
The City of Morro Bay intends to enter into a task-based professional services contract with a qualified communications firm for the examination, replacement, installation, and maintenance of the City Public Safety Radio System. The objectives include replacing existing infrastructure, increasing overall connectivity and clarity within radio transmission, enabling digital encryption capability, and providing other related services to deliver a fully functional emergency services radio system. Consultants are responsible for preparing a clear and concise Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). Three hard copies and one electronic copy in PDF format on a flash drive are required. SOQs must be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with the SOQ title and bidder name. The City reserves the right to reject any or all SOQs, waive irregularities or informalities, and evaluate submissions based on the City's best interests. Addenda or updates will be posted online; consultants are responsible for checking for such updates. No discrimination in employment practices is allowed based on race, color, national origin, ancestry, disability, gender, or religion, and no qualified handicapped person shall be denied participation or benefits in any matter related to the contract award.
