Site work for a mixed-use development in San Anselmo, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and playground / park / athletic field.
The scope of work consists of Play Striping and Improvements at three elementary school campuses, including AC paving patch, crack repair, slurry seal, playground surfacing, and incidental associated work. To bid on this project, bidders are required to possess a valid State of California contractor's license (A, B, and/or C-27), and be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. Bids must be submitted electronically using the provided form and be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% Performance and 100% Payment Bonds and may substitute securities for any monies withheld to ensure contract performance. All workers must be paid not less than the prevailing wage rates. The contract will be awarded, if at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities. Bids must not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the date of opening. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed via email to the District tobondprogram@srcs.org. Questions received less than SEVEN (7) calendar days prior to the date for opening bids may not be answered.
