The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to replace the existing patient elopement systems at 17 control points (doors) within Building 203. Work is limited to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors and consists of a brand-name-only replacement of the WanderGuard Blue System to ensure full compatibility and seamless integration with the existing Vocera system deployed across the campus. The project includes upgrading legacy system iterations with new head-end equipment and software while allowing for reuse of existing cabling and much of the installed hardware. Any damage to existing finishes resulting from installation activities shall be repaired to match existing conditions. Utility modifications required to provide power at designated locations will be performed by others. The contractor shall provide a one-year post-delivery warranty covering all materials, installation, software, and service support from the date of project completion. The period of performance for this project is 180 days. PROJECT LOCATION: San Francisco VA Medical Center, 4150 Clement St, San Francisco, CA 94121. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
