The work involves the furnishing, installing, and testing of approximately 4,668 linear feet of 18-inch PVC gravity interceptor sewer main replacements and concrete manholes, unclassified excavation, stream crossings, sediment and erosion control procedures, rip-rap streambank stabilization, backfill, tie-ins of all lines entering existing manholes, bypass pumping of wastewater flows, working in close proximity with other utilities, testing, reconnections or tie-ins, sewer service reconnections, surface and property restoration, pavement restoration, and all other appurtenances and work shown on the Construction Drawings or indicated in the Contract Specifications. Question Deadline 04/20/2026 Questions regarding documents, discrepancies, omissions, or intent of the Specifications or Drawings shall be submitted in writing to the Owner through the Engineer at least 10 days prior to opening of bids to provide time for issuing and forwarding an addendum. Official numbered bid documents must be obtained at the office of Water Management Services, LLC in Nashville. A deposit of $100.00 is required for each set of documents. Each bidder and their subcontractors must show evidence of a license before bids will be considered; the license number, expiration date, and classification must appear on the envelope containing the bid or the bid will not be opened. The City reserves the right to reject any proposal for failure to comply with requirements or to reject all proposals, though minor defects or informalities may be waived at the city's discretion.
