This project consists of the systematic replacement of existing conventional (zoned) fire alarm systems with fully addressable fire alarm systems across multiple Utah Transit Authority campuses, including but not limited to administrative buildings, maintenance facilities, transit centers, operations centers, warehouses, and support structures. ENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION UTA seeks to modernize and standardize fire alarm systems across its facilities by: o Replacing conventional zoned panels or out of date Addressable fire alarm control panels with modern and maintainable addressable fire alarm control panels (FACP) o Replacing initiating devices (smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual pull stations) where required o Upgrading notification appliances as required for code compliance o Integrating fire alarm systems with sprinkler monitoring and building systems o Improving reliability, diagnostics, and maintenance capabilities Facilities may include administrative buildings, transit centers, bus maintenance facilities, operations centers, warehouses, and support buildings Questions and Requests for changes to the RFP must be submitted via the Euna Q&A page before the end of the Question and Answer period.
