Sealed bids are invited for the Local Street Resurfacing Program Fiscal Year 2025-26 SB1 - Pavement Repair, in accordance with the plans and specifications for Project No. WD26003. Each bid must be on the official bid form, conform to the requirements of the bid documents, and be presented under sealed cover with the Bidder's Guaranty, Non-Collusion Declaration, and all required documents. Bidders must be licensed in accordance with State of California laws and must retain such license through the duration of the project. The successful contractor must obtain and retain a City of Stockton business license. Bids must be marked with the project name, number, and bid opening date and delivered to the City Clerk's office prior to the specified deadline; late bids will not be accepted. The successful bidder and subcontractors must pay prevailing wage rates per the California Department of Industrial Relations. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, though the City Council reserves the right to reject all bids or re-advertise. Bonds for Labor and Material and for Faithful Performance, each for 100% of the contract price, are required and must be executed before or concurrently with the contract.
