The project involves a request for Coastal Development Permit and Design Review approval to construct a new pedestrian bridge over Fitzhenry Creek connecting the Stinson Beach Community Center facilities located at 30 Belvedere Avenue and 10 Willow Avenue. The proposal also includes rebuilding two existing community center structures on one parcel in the same location and at the same height. The pedestrian bridge is proposed to be approximately 7 feet wide and 34 feet long, with an overall bridge and ramp system length of approximately 50 feet and a height of about 15 feet above the creek bed. Construction includes drilled concrete piers, grade beams, and a cedar bridge deck with hog wire guards and railing.
