More specifically, the work involves replacing the steam boilers used to humidify the various central ventilation systems in Blocks A and C, as well as replacing the main exhaust fan for the sanitary blocks in Block A. These mechanical systems, along with their associated auxiliary equipment, have exceeded their useful life and are showing advanced signs of deterioration. The scope of the works includes, in particular, the dismantling of two existing steam boilers and the exhaust fan, the installation of a new steam boiler and a new exhaust fan, the installation of a heat exchanger and a pump for preheating the water supply to the new boiler, the electrical work required to connect the new equipment, and general demolition work and alterations to the service ducts. The Professional's mechanical and electrical plans and specifications describing the scope of works are currently available on SEAO. Delivery schedule Work may commence as early as 1 June 2026.
