Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lincoln, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Furnish and install approximately 4,000 tons of WisDOT 4 LT 58-28 S Hot Mix Pavement on approximately 1.7 miles of Blackbrook Road (Thoma Road to Moline Road). The pavement shall be a minimum of 22 feet wide, 3 inches compacted thickness and a 2% sloped crown. All work shall be completed no later than August 15, 2026. The work schedule will be mutually agreed to by the Town of Lincoln and the successful bidder. The Bidder's unit price bid shall include all costs associated with producing, hauling, and placing the material including, but not limited to, mobilizing and demobilizing labor and equipment required to produce, haul, and place the material; costs of quality control testing and reporting as required; all overhead, profit and administrative costs; and any other incidental items required for the work as specified. Bidder is responsible for all fine grading before paving. Bidder must saw cut and tie new asphalt into all existing paved driveways. Also, two-foot kickouts at all driveways. Pave approximately 50 feet back on adjoining Ostergren and Heier Roads. The work shall be completed in accordance with the latest edition of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation standard specifications for road and bridge construction, Part 1 and Part 4. The Town of Lincoln reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding process or accepting bids which best serves the interest of the Town.
