Sealed bids are requested for a public works contract involving the installation of a new generator at East Hampton Airport. The site of the proposed new emergency generator is located at East Hampton Airport in the Town of East Hampton, County of Suffolk, State of New York and more particularly shown on the Contract Drawings. In general, the work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Mobilization 2. Temporary Protection of existing features to remain 3. All work required by the Construction Documents. 4. Furnish and install new emergency generator 5. Furnish and install new concrete generator pad 6. Associated Site work; Underground Trenching, Conduit, Backfill, Surface Restoration, Protection of Existing Surfaces, and Minor Repairs. 7. Electrical Safing & Outage Coordination 8. Natural Gas Service, Piping, Meter, Regulators, and Utility Coordination 9. Startup, Testing & Commissioning Proposals must be submitted on official forms provided in the bid package and placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidder's name and the bid title. Each submission must include a 10% bid deposit and a Certificate of Non-Collusion. The Town of East Hampton reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in proposals in the best interests of the Town.
