Contract 126 - Cates Landing Road Utility Relocation including installation of 205 LF of 12" PC350 DIP; 735 LF of 4" SDR21 PVC; 1,380 LF of 2" PEXa; 275 L.F. of 3/4 " PEXa; 11 Residential meter assemblies, misc. tie-ins, and other utility work Each BID must be accompanied by a BID bond payable to the OWNER for 5% of the total amount of the bid. As soon as the BID prices have been compared, the OWNER will return the BONDS of all but the three lowest responsible BIDDERS. A performance BOND and payment BOND each in the amount of 100% of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The Contractor will be charged liquidated damages in the sum of $200.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter for breach of contract. Questions relative to the WORK shall be submitted to the ENGINEER; ENGINEER will respond promptly. All questions raised by any BIDDER and ENGINEER's subsequent response will be available to each BIDDER upon request.
