The City of Aubrey requests qualifications for Construction Manager-At-Risk (CMAR) services for the Aubrey Sports Complex, which includes baseball/softball fields, multi-use sport fields, pre-fabricated structures (maintenance building, restroom, concession stand), parking lot and vehicular paving, pedestrian trail, lighting, detention pond, utilities, shade structure, playground, monument sign, and landscape and irrigation. The CMAR will be chosen in a two-step process, determined by a selection panel, and the selected firm will provide construction services at a contracted fee. The scope of services is intended to provide a complete and usable facility for immediate operation after acceptance. Proposers must examine the site to be familiar with the conditions related to the work. Submissions must be delivered prior to the deadline, and late submissions will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any qualifications or proposals. No modifications will be considered unless made in writing. Submissions will be publicly opened and the names of offerors read aloud. The project is currently at 30% design completion and funded through bond or capital improvement funds. All responses must demonstrate experience and resources necessary for construction management at risk services, including design, pre-construction, and construction phases.
