The Montgomery County Fiscal Court is requesting sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide an HVAC replacement system for the Courthouse Annex basement at 44 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, KY. The project involves replacing two rooftop units that supply heating and air conditioning throughout the space. The new system must include replacing the two RTUs and connecting them into the existing Trane SC building controls. The basis of design for the rooftop units shall be Trane Foundation units, 7.5 tons cooling with gas heat, both units with economizer option, hail guards, and BACnet communication thermostats. Replacement must be completed during non-occupied hours of the facility. The contractor is responsible for removal and refrigerant reclaim of the existing units. The contractor must provide and install wire to extend the existing BACnet MS/TP communication link on the two new RTUs, integrate them into the existing BAS system, and update the locations on the existing floor plan graphics. Sealed bids are to be submitted to the County Judge-Executive's office. The Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
