Kinney County is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified vendors for the installation of seven generators at designated locations throughout the County. The selected contractor will be responsible for the procurement, delivery, installation, and operational readiness of seven generators, including all necessary installation requirements for compliance with applicable codes and standards. This project is funded in accordance with Texas Division of Emergency Management requirements, and all applicable state and federal regulations will apply. Sealed proposals must be clearly marked as specified and submitted to the Kinney County Judge's Office. Submit all questions regarding clarification or interpretation of Bidding Documents to the office of the Engineer, Dirksen Engineering, 441 Fort Clark St. Apt B, Uvalde, TX 78801, Attn: Kenneth R. Dirksen, P.E. (kendirksen@sbcglobal.net), (830) 278-2100. Question Deadline 04/21/2026 Contractorshall complete all Work asspecified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The Work is generally described as follows: Installation of 11,059 linear feet of 2" MDPE gas main. Make the appropriate reconnections and new installations of MDPE gas services and make ties into the existing system. Condemn the 2" steel gas main. At the Standalone areas, make the appropriate new installations, riser replacements, condemnation of services, and valve replacements.
