The project includes sanitary sewer rehabilitation, repair, replacement, and related appurtenances. Bidders are required to submit bid security as stated in the instructions. The project is funded by SRF Project No: CS010837-03 and requires DBE documentation from the low, responsive, responsible bidder within 10 days after bid opening. All participants must comply with applicable federal requirements, including the American Iron and Steel Requirement and Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements. Bidders must provide, upon request, a list of projects successfully completed in the last 2 years with similar scope and approximate cost. All bidders must comply with Alabama’s Contractor’s Licensing Law and be certified for the work type. Bidders must show evidence of appropriate licensing, including the license number on the envelope for the proposal. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely delivery of their bids. Late bids are not considered. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the opening. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Document Notes : Said cost represents the cost of printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution, therefore no refund will be granted. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "GMC." Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The deadline for receiving questions is 12:00 Noon, Friday, May 8, 2026.
