The project on which bids are invited is generally and briefly described as 2026 HVAC Projects for the DuPage Airport Authority located in West Chicago, Illinois. All contracts for the construction of public works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1, et seq.) and DuPage Airport Authority Procurement Code Section 6-26 Responsibility of Bidders or Offerors. The anticipated cost for this project is: $200,000 up to and including $250,000. The estimated magnitude is for informational purposes only and should only be used by bidders as a guide to determine if they have the necessary bonding capacity and capabilities to perform a construction project within this magnitude. Bid Security in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the total bid is required for this project. The Bidder who is awarded the Contract shall be required to provide a Performance Bond in the total amount of the Contract Sum within five (5) days of the contract award. The Bidder who is awarded the Contract shall be required to provide all other bonds required by the Contract.
