Project No. 2025-252-001 The work consists of demolition, exterior restoration, interior restoration, and building systems upgrades at Hangars 3 and 4. Demolition includes removal of the existing roofs and roof decks while leaving the superstructure in place, removal of specific interior masonry walls, removal and replacement of concrete slabs in both hangars and select damaged areas, dismantling of exterior masonry walls for rebuilding, and selective remediation of identified hazardous materials. Exterior restoration includes repairing and rebuilding portions of all masonry facades, repairing and replacing all windows, restoring the rolling hangar doors, restoring the painted friezes above the hangar doors, and replacing the roofs. Interior restoration includes restoration and replication of interior doors and windows, replacement of concrete slabs, and restoration of interior masonry walls. Building systems work includes installation of new lighting and electrical systems, installation of unit heaters in utility and restroom spaces, construction of two single-user restrooms, and rerouting of water and storm utilities around the buildings.
