Renovation of a fire / police facility in Norwalk, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The City of Norwalk is seeking qualified firms to provide design build services to replace the Norwalk Police Department gates. This project is funded by the State of Connecticut Department of Economic Community Development (DECD) South Norwalk Equitable TOD Project. The requirements for this project are outlined in greater detail under Section 2 Scope of Work/Project Specifications. This contract is subject to state spending allocation goals and contract compliance requirements. Online Portal Deadline to submit Questions Apr 16th 2026, 2:00 PM EDT State law requires a minimum spending allocation goal of twenty-five (25%) percent of the state-funded portion of the contract for award to subcontractors holding current certification from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services ("DAS") under the provisions of CONN. GEN. STAT. 4a-60g. (25% of the total state-funded value with DAS-certified Small Businesses and 6.25% of the total statefunded value with DAS-certified Minority-, Women-, and/or Disabled-owned Businesses.) The contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the spending allocation goals.
