Site work for a water / sewer project in Delavan, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are invited for the City of Delavan Wastewater Lagoon Cleaning project. The work consists of decanting lagoons, removing and disposing of approximately 3,550 dry tons, and site restoration and cleanup. A certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid must be submitted with each bid. The contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, requiring contractors and subcontractors to pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages in the county where the work is performed, and to comply with all wage, notice, and record keeping duties required by the Act. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held for up to 90 days for review and bidder qualification purposes before awarding the contract. Question Deadline 04/21/2026
