Renovation of an educational facility in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,400-square-foot educational facility.
The scope of work is the replacement of the Middle School Roof System with a spray polyurethane foam. Instructions to bidders specify that bid specifications and bid forms are available at the Business Office of the Frazier School District or can be downloaded from the District's website. Bids must be delivered and received at the Business Office no later than 1:00 p.m. on the specified bid closing date. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any technical defects, inconsistencies, or minor irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the District. Award Notification : Monday , April 27th , 2026 Scope of Work The selected contractor shall furnish all labor , materials , equipment , and supervision necessary to complete the project . The scope of work includes , but is not limited to , the following : 3.1 Preparation o Clean roof surface of all loose debris , dirt , and contaminants . Ensure surface is properly prepared to receive new roofing system . 3.2 Removal o Remove and properly dispose of the existing spray polyurethane foam roofing system . Dispose of all materials in accordance with local , state , and federal regulations . 3.3 Structural Work o Replace roof deck sections where existing units were removed or where damage is identified . Ensure all replaced decking meets current building codes and structural requirements . 3.4 Installation of New Roofing System Spray Polyurethane Foam Application Apply SPF system to an average thickness of 1.5 inches . Ensure uniform coverage and proper adhesion throughout the roof surface . Basecoat Application o Apply Benchmark basecoat or an equivalent product with similar or superior performance . Application rate : approximately 2 gallons per square . Surface Preparation o Apply caulking to all pinholes , voids , seams , and irregularities to ensure a uniform and watertight surface . Topcoat Application o Apply Puma XL Topcoat or an equivalent product with similar or superior performance . o Application rate : approximately 2 gallons per square .
