The goal of the project is to remove and dispose of the lead contaminated soils at the small arms range 5 backstop berm and reconstruct the berm. The removed soils from the berm are to be disposed of at an off-site RCRA hazardous waste disposal facility in accordance with the Federal and State laws and regulations. All bid responses require proof of State Project Registration from the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity. Bid responses and attachments must be uploaded to SIGMA VSS, with a maximum of two attachments: one for bid documents (such as Bid Summary, Bid Schedule, Bid Bond, Certification forms, Signature Authority, etc.) and, if applicable, one for Qualified Disabled Veteran information (DD214, Proof of 51% Ownership, and Proof of Service-Connected Disability). Bids must be submitted before the 2:00 p.m. deadline as SIGMA VSS will not accept late submissions. For electronic submission issues, bidders must contact the SIGMA Help Desk prior to the deadline. Approved emailed submissions must also be received before the deadline to be considered responsive and responsible. Bid security of 5% is required. Questions should be emailed as directed. All personnel attending any walk-through must provide a valid driver's license at the facility gate and, if required, submit a LEIN request form in advance.
