The work involves furnishing all labor, tools, non-owner provided materials, and equipment needed to perform the mixed overhead/underground installation of approximately 36 miles of ADSS fiber optic cable. Work may include the attachment of tangents, dead ends, splice closures, and slack loops to wood, steel, and concrete poles, placement of conduit (by bore and/or trench), fiber optic splicing, and Bi-Directional OTDR Testing. All bidders must complete and submit a Bidder Application/Prequalification by 5 p.m., April 21, 2024, to be reviewed and approved for bidding. Question Deadline 04/27/2026 The work will be let under one Contract if award should be made; and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner.
