The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to Lead and Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) and complete the demolition of Building 58 and disposing of and all associated site utilities. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Administrator listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 127350, Building 58 Demolition and Contractor Business Name. Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 4/17/2026, at 11:00 AM at Joint Forces Training Base, 11200 Lexington Drive, Los Alamitos, CA 90720. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk may be considered non-responsive and may not be allowed to bid on this project. The Prime Contractor shall possess a C-21 - Building Moving/Demolition Contractor or B - General Building Contractor and subcontract a C-22 - Asbestos Abatement Contractor license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB).
