Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kingsville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Kingsville Township Trustees, Ashtabula County, Ohio, will be accepting sealed bids for approximately 20,000 gallons of CRS-2P, to be applied by an approved computer-controlled distributor capable of shooting a minimum width of 20 feet. The price per gallon must include the spreading of #8 slag cover stone, provided by the Township, at the Township yard. The application of CRS-2P must be preceded by brooming the road. Spreading of the stone includes loading from the stockpile into the bidders' trucks, hauling, spreading, rolling, and returning excess stone (vacuumed) to the stockpile after 48 hours, but within 1 week. The chip spreader must be an approved self-propelled, computer-controlled type, with a variable width of at least 20 feet. Bidders are responsible for work zone signage and traffic control. All work will be done under the supervision of the Township Road Superintendent or other authorized Township personnel. Bids must include MSDS sheets, proof of liability insurance, and proof of workers' compensation. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids and choose what is deemed best for the Township.
