Renovation of a medical facility in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Upgrades and repairs and decarbonization of the University of Montreal Hospital Centre (CHUM) building. The scope of work includes upgrades to the building parameters to eliminate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to achieve a carbon neutrality by replacing fossil fuels with renewable or decarbonized energy sources and improving energy efficiency. TIMILINE: Following a contract agreement published with reference information 26-931420-1674 /20135421 the owner has awarded an engineering professional consultant for the preparation of a decarbonization plans for the owner's facilities. Preliminary studies and concept establishment are underway. Scope of work, final budget and timelines of the project development are being finalized. Further update in fall 2026.
