Sealed bids will be received for the new construction of Hershey Elementary School, 450 Homestead Road, Pennsylvania 17033. Separate, sealed bids are requested for the following Prime Contracts: General Construction, Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Construction, Plumbing Construction, Electrical Construction, and Site Construction. Bidders may obtain bidding documents in hard copy or electronic format by submitting a written request and appropriate payment for printed copies. Each bid must include bid security equal to ten percent of the base and alternate bid amounts in the form of a Bid Bond. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for the full amount of the contract, must be provided by the successful bidder. Bids cannot be withdrawn for sixty days following the opening, and the Derry Township School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities. Bidders must comply with Pennsylvania prevailing wage requirements, and corporations from out of state must secure a certificate to conduct business within Pennsylvania.
